Our worship begins and ends with Jesus. As we gather as His family, we listen to Him speak first. He talks to us through His Word as we read the Bible, sing songs, and listen to a message from the Pastor. He pours out love and grace and forgiveness in the Lord’s Supper (Communion) and washes us clean in Baptism. After we have received so much from our loving God, we give back to Him our worship and praise. That’s the rhythm of our worship – God coming to us, us giving back to God.
At Living Christ, we don’t have one set way of worshiping. We use songs both old and new. We draw from the ancient well of traditional hymns, and love singing brand new songs as well. What matters the most to us is that every weekend the focus is on Jesus.
