Simply, we believe that we live in a broken world. The Bible calls this brokenness Sin. We sin against each other, hurting each other. We are sinned against. We see sin all around us in the wars, violence, and hurt of our world. Sin is a big problem.
And yet we believe that God loves us too much to just leave us wallowing in our sin. Instead, He sent His very own Son Jesus into the world to save us from sin. Jesus lived a perfect life, died on a cross as a punishment for our sin, and rose again from the dead in victory of sin, death, and the devil. As we trust in Jesus today, we live as His saved and redeemed children.
That’s the basic core of our belief.
